Cold Coffee 2.



Cold Coffee 2 is I guess my long awaited return to doing some music after a long break of doing nothing. This project is still in the making and is one of those projects that is going to take however long it takes. Unlike Nexus, the pervious project, my approach to Cold Coffee 2 will be a little less planned and taking things a little more easily. I hope you enjoy what's been done so far.

Blue (56Kbs 2MB)
The first track in the project, and has the sub title of 'Born Into Wonder' and is a kind of Enigma meets 2001 meets Jean Michele Jarre type affair. It's quite a nice track and has a very 'spacey' sound to it.

Orange (128Kbs 3.7MB)
A strange one this, following the relatively slow moving 'Blue' this track is a fast, short and abruptly ending African drumming mixed with heavy synths and flutes type of track. There's not much of a melody in the track, but I have to say that after leaving this track for a while then listening to it again my first impression was 'it's not finished' then after a few listens I think it's quite nice because of the no messing 'there you go' attitude it has. Why drag it out.

Yellow1 (128Kbs 3.7MB)
This is a snippet of what will be one of the bigger tracks in the project. It's slow, it doesn't have drums, it's purely instrumental and there are some forced transpositions in the melody, gives a very strange feeling, dream like. There's much more to go into this one so stay tuned :-)

Yellow2 (128Kbs 1.4MB)
Yellow will appear in the project twice, the second incarnation is the same as Yellow 1 but it's faster, it has drums, it may have some samples and there won't be any forced transpositions in the melody, making it feel very un dream like :-). This track is also under construction and the file is only a snippet.
