Introduction
OBFileCompare is a small utility that lets you compare file versions
of DLL's, OCX's, EXE's etc., typically between two machines. It
was original written to try and track down problems encountered
around the time MS released IE5 with DLL versions but has since
become quite a nice utility for tracking changes in the Sytem32
directory over time.
The package also comes with a utility called FileFetcher, which
is a DHTML page that gathers version numbers from the PC it is executed
on and produces a file that can be used by OBFileCompare, which
is good if you don't have a network connection to the PC to be analyzed
not do you want to install the application.
